There is a depth of grief and bereavement that accompanies pediatric death that is difficult for most of us to comprehend. I provide a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and an ear for listening.
About Me
My name is Mary Zappia. I am a certified End-of-Life Coach, End-of-Life Doula and Pediatric End-of-Life Doula through the Conscious Dying Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
My interest in end-of-life has come to me gradually throughout the past few years in my volunteer work. As a listening ministry outreach and hospice volunteer, I witnessed a lack of desire to speak openly about death, though we all know how this thing called life ends.
I feel passionate about wanting to help others in the exploration of one’s death and dying by looking at it not as something to fear, but something to fully embrace.
